Paying debt in fixed installments, without interest, without participation, without exclusion

EPCG started a new action called “Share the weight” in which it offers unique opportunity for all buyers from category of households which have electricity debt to, regardless of amount, pay it in fixed monthly installments, without participation, without interest from the moment of signing the protocol, and without exclusion from the network.

If the buyers from the category of households, who on May 31st 2013, had a debt for consumed electricity (regardless of the amount), in the following three months settle their bills regularly – not including previous debt (May bill until June 30th, June bill until July 31th, and July bill until August 31st), will avoid being excluded from the network. If after 3 months they fulfill the condition of regularly paying bills, in September they will gain the possibility to sign a protocol on settling their debt in equal monthly installments in fixed amounts of 20 euros, without participation and further calculation of interest on their debt.

For debt amounting to 500 euros, number of monthly installments will be determined by dividing the amount of debt with 20 euros (eg. debt of 320 euros will be paid off in 16 installments, of 20 euros). Buyers with debt higher than 500 euros will be offered to sign protocol on 25 monthly installments of 20 euros, and after its expiration they will be given the opportunity to sign a new protocol for the rest of the debt. In Montenegro there are currently 161.000 households which owe less than 500 euros in total amount of 25 million euros, which means that the average debt of those households is around 150 euros.

Buyers, who already have signed protocols, can change them from September with the new model, with the condition of regularly paying their obligations on the existing protocol.

Customers that currently excluded from the network will be connected again if they join the action by paying their last bill before they were excluded and connection fee during June, and then they will be obligated to regularly pay bills for May, June and July.

We remind that after settling entire debt, buyers will have a right to use many benefits that regular payers have. Around 120.000 consumers of EPCG are regularly settling their bills, and 104.000 of them are members of the Golden team.
