Changing the name of the buyer

Below is a short description on change of the customer’s name in case of a sale, inheritance and lease.

 

 

 

 

You have bought an apartment, a house, business premises…?

The procedure to change the customer’s name is simple and free-of-charge. In order to make the change, you should provide the following documents:

Completed Request on Change of the Customer’s Name,

Title Deed that is not older than 30 days,

The excerpt from the Central Registry of Commercial Entities, the Decision on Registration, the Specimen of Signatures (for business entities),

In case obligations pertaining to delivery of electricity at the concerned metering point should be financially separated, it is necessary to also attach the Contract of Sale of Real Property,

In case several co-owners of the concerned facility are mentioned in the Title Deed, all the other co-owners should provide the Statement in order to confirm that the person that filed the Request can be registered as the buyer of electricity in the facility that consumes energy, which Statement should be certified by the competent authority.

Simply and quickly! The following documents should be provided at the counter of FU Supply located in your town:

Completed Request for change of the customer’s name,

Title Deed,

The Decision on Inheritance or the Contract of Gift or the Life Care Contract… 

The excerpt from the Central Registry of Commercial Entities, the Decision on Registration, the Specimen of Signatures (for business entities),

In case several co-owners of the concerned facility are mentioned in the Title Deed, all the other co-owners should provide the Statement in order to confirm that the person that filed the request can be registered as the buyer of electricity in the facility that consumes energy, which Statement should be certified by the competent authority.  

By inheriting or accepting the gift, the new owner has also accepted all the rights and obligations, as well as the financial obligations based on electricity consumption.

You have hired an apartment, a house, business premises?

In case of hiring a property, the owner of a metering point and the tenant may change the customer’s name during the term of the Lease Contract and sign with us the temporary Contract on Electricity Supply. The Request for change of the customer’s name based on a lease is submitted by the owner of the metering point.

The Contract of Lease or the Facility Use Agreement or the Decision …

Status documents of the tenant for business entities (TIN, Decision on Registration, Specimen Signatures).

The debt for consumed electricity as of the date on which the Request was filed should be settled.

The procedure on change of the customer’s name is completed by concluding the Contract on Electricity Supply.
