Fifth grade students of the Primary school “Luka Simonović” from Nikšić, together with their teachers, have recently visited our Company’s Head Office and got informed in more details about features and importance of the hydro energy system in Nikšićko polje.
Olga Radulović, M.Sc., head of Department for civil-geological affairs of HPP “Perućica”, presented to all the interested students the relief of hydro energy system „Gornja Zeta“ dated 1962, adjusted to the students’ age and interests. The students were provided with all the necessary data, curiously asking the questions, thus proving that “first-hand” informing is the most effective learning method.
Eleven-year old Luka Vučinić said that the principle of hydro power plants operation was more understandable after the presentation and his teacher Momčilo Kosović expressed his gratitude to Elektroprivreda Crne Gore for its hospitality, as well as the pleasure for the opportunity given to the students enabling them to improve the knowledge.
Olga Radulović M.Sc. said it was her pleasure to be in such a nice company because “children are the best speakers and listeners”.
„I hope that my presentation has provoked in some of the students the interest to choose a profession from the energy field once the moment of decision comes” – Olga Radulović said.
