Mr. JÓZSEF NÉGYESI, AMBASSADOR OF HUNGARY, PAID A VISIT TO ELEKTROPRIVREDA CRNE GORE

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Nikšić hosted the Hungarian Embassy delegation consisting of Mr. József Négyesi, an ambassador, Mr. Milán Radácsi, an economic advisor and Mr. Peter Hetei a second counsellor. On that occasion the guests met with Mr. Nikola Rovčanin - CFO, Mr. Bojan Đordan - Executive director of FU Generation, Mr. Miro Vračar - CFO and Mr. Ivan Mrvaljević - Executive manager of the Directorate for Development and Mr. Tomaš Damjanović, a CEO’s expert associate for media.  

Mr. Négyesi spoke on dynamics of interstate and economic relations development between Hungary and Montenegro commendably well, highlighting thereby that there was a significant room in the energy sector for cooperation between EPCG and the relevant Hungarian companies given that there were common challenges in terms of commitment to RES investment.  

The experience, which Hungary has been gaining over the last two decades, including its energy sector companies is precious and means a lot in terms of the knowledge transfer for both the further process of accession of Montenegro to the European Union and a successful energy transition in our country.

Mr Nikola Rovčanin, CEO of EPCG, presented to the guests the ongoing and future projects of the Company pointing out the readiness for setting up the communication and close cooperation with corresponding companies from Hungary.

Showing the pleasure of discussion contents, Mr. Négyesi concluded that he hoped to establish even stronger relations between Hungarian and Montenegrin business entities in energy sector. Joint business projects, based on local needs, could contribute to increase in generation, productivity improvement, modernisation of existing and introduction of new technologies, widening of capacities and finally increase in the scope of trade exchange between the two countries.
