Consumption in June 1.7% lower

In June 2014, households consumed 85.598.361 kW/h, which is 1.7 % lower compared with consumption in the previous month, i.e. 4% lower compared with consumption in the same period last year.

Average bill for electricity consumed by households in June (excluding non-read metering points in the buildings which are not permanently resided) is by 3% lower as compared to that of May and it amounts to €30.75.

Households in Žabljak have the lowest average consumption of €22, while the highest average consumption in the previous month in the amount of €40 was read in Ulcinj. Bills exceeding the amount of 100€ will be delivered to about 1,65% of customers from the category of households, that consumed considerably higher amount of electricity compared with the average consumption, i.e. over 1000kWh. Bills for June reduced by the amount of discount for regular payers will be delivered to about 130.000 households.

Due to great interest of customers, the campaign „Share the burden II“ continues in July as well. The concerned campaign has been reinitiated by Elektroprivreda Crne Gore in order to facilitate settlement of liabilities to households which have a debt for consumed electricity. In order to sign the protocol on debt settlement in fixed monthly instalments in the amount of 20 euros, it is necessary for the households to have paid the previous three bills (March, April and May). Joining the campaign “Share the burden” also guarantees exemption from compulsive methods of collection as long as the protocol is complied (suspension of electricity supply, calculation of default interest rates and payment of costs in opened court proceedings). Customers that have already joined the campaign ought to settle their liabilities by the end of the current month in order for the protocol to remain in force.
