Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has supported purchase of a defibrillator for the Public Institution 'Home for the Elderly' in Bijelo Polje, thus proving once again its devotion to improvement of the community's living conditions.
Purchase of the device worth €3.094 was initiated by the NGO Civil Society Development Association from Bijelo Polje as part of the project 'THE THIRD AGE – ENTITLED TO LIFE?'
Mirsala Tomić, the president of this NGO gave the device to Dejan Pavićević, the manager of the 'Home for the Elderly', who pointed out that it would significantly enhance health care protection of the third age population.
Mirsala Tomić thanked donors for their responsible relation to the community.
- The present and future campaigns affirm humanity, solidarity, activism, as well as all the other values of civil society and providing support and encouraging development of a civil society, philanthropy and culture of giving. I would like to use this opportunity to thank you once again for providing financial support to this successfully implemented campaign – said the president of NGO Civil Society Development Association.
