Afforestation of Gorica hill, whose 20 hectares of forest was burned in fire on July 16th, 2012, started on Friday, November 9th. Over 360 trees and 31.110 offsprings were destroyed in the mentioned fire.
The foundation "Our Podgorica" initiated the afforestation and raised money for the first phase of the project together with the municipality and many companies and citizens who wanted to contribute to this campaign, including EPCG which donated 20.000 euros. 1800 trees were planted on Friday, while revitalization of the entire hill is expected in the following three years. Many citizens and representatives of big companies, as well as Army of Montenegro and employees of EPCG participated in the campaign.
