EPCG DONATED EQUIPMENT TO THE CLINICAL CENTRE OF MONTENEGRO WORTH EUR 20,000.00

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, in its capacity of the company which is socially highly responsible and which has always been ready to help institutions that are important for the community, donated to the Clinical Centre of Montenegro EUR 20.000,00 to procure medical equipment. The Donation Agreement was signed by Igor Noveljić, CEO of EPCG and Zorica Kovačević, the director of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro

The Chief Executive Officer of EPCG said that our Company has never forgotten responsibility it has towards the society and the state in which it successfully performs its core activity. The priorities of our Company include assistance in improvement of medical services provided to the population, educational institutions, institutions which are particularly important, sports associations and individuals, and Elektroprivreda is known for it, said Noveljić, after signing of the contract.   

The medical equipment, procurement of which was funded by our company, consists of intubation bronchoscopes which are necessary for the Clinic of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care of the Clinical Centre, and they represent the standard for solution of difficult airway in the operating room. Purchase of this device will make it possible for the Clinical Centre to significantly increase diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the intensive care unit.

Zorica Kovačević, the director of the Clinical Centre thanked for the donation. She said that the point is about procurement of two bronchoscopes for the needs of the Clinic of Anaesthesia, Central Intensive Medicine and Pain Therapy, which will be used in the Department of Central Intensive Medicine and in operating rooms. It is particularly important to mention that one device is intended for performance of basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Department of Central Intensive Medicine, while another device is planned to be used for aggravated intubation of patients which represents the standard for solving aggravated airway, whether in operating room or in the Department of Central Intensive Medicine. In this way EPCG has joined the family of friends of our institution and we are most kindly thankful to them.

Through continuation of its mission of active participation in improvement of conditions of medical protection of all our citizens, EPCG will donate certain amount of funds to purchase necessary medical equipment in several another medical institutions.
