Safety rules for using electrical devices
We present to you 12 ways for safe usage of electrical devices:
GROUNDING AND DIFFERENTIAL SWITCH "FUSE"
Both are necessary: Grounding conducts possible current "failure" in the ground, while the fuse guarantees safety even in the case of small dissipation.
DO NOT PLAY WITH ELECTRICITY
Consult the experts for the implementation and control of installations and for the repair of electrical appliances.
SOCKETS
One device on each outlet. Overloading causes heat, which in addition to damaging the unit can be a source of danger.
ELECTRICITY IN THE BATHROOM
Caution: Do not use and do not position the devices connected to the power supply near open taps or near a bathtub or shower. Install the plug with built-in fuse. In this way, you are increasing security.
WHEN WET
Electrical devices should be handled with dry arms and legs and avoid direct contact with the floor and walls.
SAFE IRONING
Never with barefoot and wet hands. Also, check the validity of cables.
MAIN SWITCH
Turn IT off even when changing average light bulb. Specifically, switch on the lamp itself does not guarantee sufficient security.
EXTENSION CORDS
Use them only temporarily: When finished using, first plug off the extension cable from the socket. Note: Before use, first fully roll out the cable if it is wound around a spool.
PLUGS & SOCKETS
Do not pull the cord. Always turn off the machine and then pull the plug. In this way, you keep your electrical appliances in working order and avoid a possible short circuit.
STEAM IRON
Do not fill iron with water while its plugged in the socket.
CORDS AND EXTENSION CABLES
Always keep in perfect condition. Do not wrap cable around hot iron or any other electrical device.
SAFETY SOCKETS
They do not allow inserting metal objects into holes in sockets. They already exist in newer instalations, and their instalation is advised because of children safety.
