AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA PAID VISIT TO THERMAL POWER PLANT PLJEVLJA

Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Podgorica, His Excellency Mr. Gregor Presker, visited thermal power plant Pljevlja on Monday, October 25.

On behalf of the host, the ambassador was welcomed by Mr. Nikola Rovčanin, EPCG CEO, Mr. Jovan Radošević, member of EPCG Board of directors, Mr. Bojan Đordan, Executive manager of FU Generation, Mr. Mirko Mazalica, acting director of TPP Pljevlja, Mr. Veselin Sekulić, assistant to the Executive manager of FU Generation, Mr. Vladimir Đondović, Executive manager of the Directorate for finance and payment operations and Mr. Igor Golubović, mayor of the Municipality of Pljevlja.

Representatives of EPCG informed the guest about EPCG investment plans for the upcoming period, particularly emphasizing the project of ecological retrofitting of TPP Pljevlja and district heating of the town.  Cooperation between EPCG and Slovenian company Litostroj was also discussed, and His Excellency also talked about comparative experience of Slovenia in the energy sector during transitional period. The complex situation on the market of energy-generating products was also discussed and it was concluded that capacity increase within national electric power companies is a precondition for stability in this domain, as well as for economic development of the state.
