Consumption in December increased by 19 %

Households consumed 116,054,314 kW/h in December, which is 19% higher compared with consumption in November, i.e. 5% less compared with consumption in December 2013. Consumption was increased due to drop in temperature, particularly during the last days of December. Daily maximum was reached on December 31st and it was 10476 MWh (megawatt hour) for distribution customers which was almost 40 % higher compared with the record reached in November.   

Average bill for electricity consumed by households in December (excluding non-read metering points in the buildings which are not permanently resided) amounts to €40.2. Households in Mojkovac have recorded the lowest average consumption of €23.7, while the highest average consumption in the previous month in the amount of €49 was read in Kotor and Podgorica. Bills exceeding the amount of €150 will be delivered to about 1.6% of customers while consumption in the value of 100 – 150 euros was read at 3.77 % of customers.

Bills for December reduced by the amount of 10% discount for regular payers will be delivered to as many as 147.713 households that became members of the GOLDEN TEAM, which is almost 10,000 customers more compared with the number of customers that got discount on November bills.    

We remind that prize draw for the second round of the prize contest “GOLDEN MEMBER GETS THE APARTMENT“ will be organized on January 20th and members of the GOLDEN TEAM have the right to participate in the prize contest (147,713 customers from the category of households). Main prize in the second round is an apartment in Podgorica (75 m2), as well as tourist arrangements for the trip abroad, electronic devices and valuable vouchers for purchase.
