EPCG reinitiated campaign 'SHARE THE BURDEN'

Due to huge interest of the customers, EPCG reinitiates the campaign SHARE THE BURDEN! It is enough for the customers to settle their invoices for February, March and April so as to be able to exercise again the unique opportunity of debt repayment in fixed monthly instalments of 20 euros, without down payment and calculation of default interest, being exempted from disconnection.

Due to huge interest and request of the households that did not meet the conditions to take part in the last year’s campaign ‘Share the Burden’, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore reinitiates the campaign in order to facilitate settlement of liabilities to the citizens with debt for consumed electricity. The previous campaign was initially joined by over 18 thousand households with debt for consumed electricity and over 15.000 of them have remained involved in the campaign.

Mechanism of the campaign SHARE THE BURDEN 2 has slightly changed in relation to the previous campaign. In order to become entitled to join the campaign, customers need to have their last three bills settled (for February, March and April). In such a manner they will exercise all the benefits of this campaign: repayment of previous debt in fixed monthly instalments of 20 euros, exemption from forced collection methods as long as the protocol is complied with, suspension of default interest calculation and postponement of the obligation to pay costs of initiated court proceedings.

Therefore, all the customers that cumulatively pay these three bills will become entitled to sign the Protocol starting from June 1. If last three bills are not paid, they should be entirely settled, or, if only one of the last three bills is settled then the difference should be paid, i.e. the remaining two bills. We would like to note that bill for May has to be settled by June 30 in order for the Protocol to remain in force.

The first instalment of 20 euros will not be paid immediately, i.e. on the day of signing the Protocol as it was the case in the previous campaign, but in the next month, by July 31, together with the bill for June.

All the customers that are disconnected from network will be also entitled to join the campaign if they settle last three bills (for February, March, April) and connection tax amounting to 10 euros.

Customers that have already signed the standard protocol can reschedule it according to this model, provided that they regularly settle their liabilities based on the existing protocol.

Number of instalments will be defined as follows: if customer’s debt is up to 500€, number of monthly instalments will be set by dividing the amount of debt by 20 euros (for example, debt of 320 euros will be repaid in 16 equal fixed monthly instalments of 20 euros). If debt amounts to above 500 euros, protocol will be signed on 25 monthly instalments of 20 euros and after its expiry it will be possible to sign the new protocol for the remaining debt.

Due to successful last year’s marketing campaign, when representatives of “The books of Knjige” participated in advertising and promotion, EPCG engaged this famous Montenegrin rock band and humorous group from Cetinje in the second part of the project, as well.

Elektroprivreda expects that households with debt for consumed electricity will exercise the offered benefits and, having paid last three bills, settle their liabilities in fixed monthly instalments of 20 euros, without down payment, without calculation of default interest after signing the protocol and being exempted from disconnection from network.
