EPCG General Sponsor: Manu Chao the Star of this Year's Lake Fest

Lake Fest is going to take place from August 11th-14th at a well-known location between poplars near Lake Krupac in Nikšić. This year too EPCG has given this area to organize the rock festival, and Eleonora Albijanić, EPCG External Communication Manager, informed at the press conference that our Company supported the festival also financially.

– We are confident that new energy will be born this August at the area surrounding Lake Krupac. Synergy of young people, beautiful shores of Lake Krupac and fantastic performers have made Lake Fest famous even outside the region and they have contributed that Nikšić and Lake Krupac become distinguishable tourism destination and attractive point on the European map of a festival tourism – said Albijanić.

Predrag Zečević, the manager of the festival, expressed this thanks to EPCG and Pivara Nikšić (Nikšić Brewery) and he said that without support of these companies that have been supportive since the Festival’s beginning, the Festival would actually no exist.

It is beyond doubt that Manu Chao will be the biggest star of this year's Lake Fest. Also, Rambo Amadeus, Bajaga i instruktori, as well as many others will perform at Krupac...

– As far as ex-Yu area is concerned Manu Chao is going to have an exclusive performance at Lake Fest. Given that he is coming to the Hungarian Sziget Festival shortly before Lake Fest, we took an opportunity to bring him to us. We believe that he will cause significant increase in a number of visitors at Krupac Lake. Other performers confirmed their participation, it is only timing that has yet to be agreed. The line-up is expected to be known in 15-20 days – announced Predrag Zečević, the manager of the festival.

Bajaga and Rambo will perform on August 11th which is the first night of the festival which will be free in cooperation with the committee tasked with organizing celebration of ten years from the renewal of Montenegrin independence. Price of the ticket for next three days is the same as in previous years – 25 euros, and the ticket for individual night costs ten euros. Tickets will be sold starting from June 1st.

In addition to Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, general sponsors of the festival are Pivara Nikšić (Nikšić Brewery), Nikšić Municipality and the National Tourism Organization.

Also, Predrag Zečević disclosed that cooperation between Lake Fest and popular Sea Dance Festival has been made this year.
