We remind that the development plan predicts that the second block of TPP Pljevlja would be of power in range between 220-300MW, on location of existing unit of TPP Pljevlja I, with electrical efficiency not lower than 38%  and obligatory heat station for remote heating of Pljevlja municipality.  With construction of the second block of TPP Pljevlja, Montenegro would reach its strategic goal in energy sector – electro energetic independence of the country, improvement of secure supply for consumers as well as better stability and sustainability of electro energy sector of Montenegro. In this way Montenegro would position itself as an electricity export country.
